I do mary Kay and we are trained whether you carry inventory or not to take the money at the time of the order. some reps take half at the time of the order and the balance at delivery this is getting the cost up front and th commission at delivery. Hope this helps

Personally I would require payment in full.
Running home parties doesn’t come cheap when you consider entertainment costs and your time.
I would much prefer to market my business online vs offline like the “old way”
